Long Boring Weekend

It was a usual monday at office but this time had a specific and predefined work. Completed the work and returned home late as usual. Tuesday was just like any other office day. On wednesday, we were celebrating republic day at office. Many of my colleagues wore clothes of tricolor and a collage making competition was organized with the theme of republic day. Also, the HR had stuck many posters of the trip to Kamshet a month back on the wall in front of my desk. It was a great idea and a pleasing sight at the office. This was it. It was the end of the week at the office.
I was exited about the four day long weekend. I had to plan about my dream online venture. Also, there were plans to spent time with friends. It was 26th Jan, the 63rd Republic day of India. I started of my day watching the republic day parade on TV and listening some patriotic song. There were not much choice as all the channels were playing these songs only. At 3 PM, I was supposed to go the Rnk's house but went to National Park with my dad to get some soil for home gardening. There we did not get the soil as the store was closed. So, we went for a small walk towards Kanheri Caves and returned back in an hour and a half and then sat for few minutes besides the riverside and then returned home. As the plan to meet at rnk's place was cancelled on thursday, we decided to meet on friday. It was also cancelled, this time by rnk as he had to go somewhere. It was saturday, did a small shopping of my shirts. Gopal was supposed to meet me, sanjay and others but it was also cancelled as Sanjay had gone to Malaysia for his office conference. All the 3 day at home, I was engaged in making my website. After many failed attempts, I am now getting a clear picture of what features to provide in my website. Its sunday, instead of developing the website, I am creating a rough layout of my website. I had decided that I will actually start developing the website only when I am completely clear of what I am supposed to do.
To sum it up, it was the longest weekend since I had joined the job but it turned out to be a boring one with many cancelled plans and a lazy attitude towards the dream.

Third week of jan was the boring and tiring week of the newly started year. To start off, monday was a sleepy one after the flying weekend at my native place. I was feeling sleepy most of the day including the meeting with HOD. There were a few cautions for me on this issue. Rest of the days were like other ordinary days. The only difference is that, I got to work on laptop for couple of days as my computer crashed. Friday we were given and offer my our management to work on saturday and compensate for the same on next friday making a 4 day long weekend. The offer seemed exiting and so I accepted the same.
It was the first working saturday for me ever since I joined. I reached at 9.15 AM. It was a saturday full of enjoyment with music during office hours. I went to hotel for lunch with my team as there was no canteen facility available on saturdays even though I had brought my tiffin. After lunch, we went to see a house for Nidhi. So, it was a long break for us. Back to work and it was also the first day when I touched 12 hour mark.
Back to home, it was yet another regular sunday, couple of hours at sanjay's home and then at lax's home with ekta. Returned home and saw dad's friend. Spent some time with them and then again went with sanjay for a walk with other friends(anu, bhavesh, mansi & shafaq). After a long walk and gossip, returned home and surprised to see that mom and dad were out to a friends home of dinner. This was unusual but at the same time I was pleased.
The week ended, took a bit toll on the health and was tiring. Hope the coming week would compensate for the same.

After a great surprise on 10th Jan, I was back to my regular business. Wednesday and thursday were like any other office days i.e. attented sessions, did some R & D, learnt few things and also worked on few task as always. It was friday, while leaving home to office, informed grandpa about my weekend plans. He must be wondering that even during the holidays, I am hardly found in the home. Reached office at 9 AM. Called the project manager due to some urgent issue. With his permission, I  completed addressed the task. Due to this the project manager came to know that I am going to go early as I came early in the morning. At 11 AM, I went for a session on English Language Skills that was taken by my collegue Harsh. Enjoyed and learnt a lot from the session. After the 2.5 hrs session, had lunch and completed a task and rest were kept pending. The whole office was in party mode as it was time for F3 party of the month. I leaved the office at 5 PM and boarded the train.

At 9.45 PM, I reached Navsari were Suraj and relatives were there to pick me up. After standing of 4 hrs in, my legs were put to rest in the car. I then went to my mama's home from where I and my cousins came to my masi's home. There had a light dinner and then I and Suraj starting preparing for the next day which included getting the computers working.

On 14th Jan, woke-up at 6AM, and set-up the sound-system on the terrace and then took a bath and then I and Suraj were off to Navsari for few task to be done. By the time we returned, the house was full with relatives. Then, we started kite flying. In the afternoon, saw some decades old photos of each other and shared some past memories. A couple of hours of rest and we were back to the kite flying mode and continued till it was dark. We then wrapped up the settings done on the terrace, had dinner, took a small ride of the WagonR and then were off to the bed. It was a snoring night as many of us snored while sleeping.

It was a lazy sunday. Got up a bit late, surfed the net for couple of hours, went to Navsari for refreshment. It was a chilling bike ride. Came back home and then were back to Navsari for shopping, this time in car. After returning from shopping, Suraj's kaka left to Billimora. I then went again to Navsari with Suraj to my mama's place. Spent couple of hours there planning of Suraj's wedding. We quickly went back to suraj's home, collected my baggage and started a ride to Billimora on CBZ and reached there within an hour. From there I came in WagonR with suraj's kaka.

We left at 5.40 PM from Billimora and reached Mira Road in just 3.5 hours. It was a drive of constant 100 kmph speed. It was a thriller of a ride. Enjoyed a lot and also learnt few driving tips.

Reached home, shared few experience of the weekend with family, surfed the net for an hour and then slept to sign off from an amazing weekend.

Everything went wrong yet a perfect surprise.

The week started with the expectation of giving a good surprise to Ronak on his birthday. It was a usual office day on Monday. Came home a bit late, so directly got chatting with lax for the day to come. Few minutes before the 12 midnight, made a conference call to lax, ekta and finally to Ronak for wishing him. Unfortunately we were not the first one to do so. It was the first thing to go wrong in the first minute of the day. After many attempts rnk finally picked up the call. We wished him and had a regular conversation. Rnk still feels I am will go to office and will not turn up for his celebrations. After the call, finalized the plan and posted his previous years birthday poster on his fb wall. In the morning, completed a few personal work and was ready for the execution of the plan but everything was delayed as the cake preparation took more time than estimated. Finally, cake was prepared and the final cherry on the cake was fixed by me and lax at her home. We had planned for the surprise days before yet every thing was arranged at the last moment. I then quickly rushed to the Bhayander station to catch the bus for Uttan. On station, met Ekta and Kaushik and explained them the whole plan. I boarded the bus while other 4 including rnk were in the bus behind me. Everything seemed ok when suddenly the bus in which I was travelling crashed down. I had reached such a place where there was no other mode of travelling. Few minutes later, another bus came in which rnk and others were already there. Assuming they would be sitting at the end of the bus, I got in from the front. Now, I was shocked to see all of them sitting in the middle of the bus. There was no option remaining but go towards them as they would surely see me as there was not much crowd in the bus. This was the moment when I thought the surprise was spoiled. I started walking towards them, but seeing that every one was busy enjoy something and did not even noticed me, I kept walking and went at the backside of the bus. On my way, I indicated lax about my presence. She was shocked to see me in the bus. The plan needed to be altered. At the destination stop, I quickly got out of the bus from behind and rushed to the Vallankani Beach. To give me some time to prepare lax managed to prepare them to come there by walk. On my way to the beach, called rnk as if was near my office. On reaching the destination, quickly made arrangements and got all the things done right. Finally, rnk and all arrived and we were successful in giving him a long planned but ill executed surprise. That moment I really thought that things that are done on instinct and at that moment are more better than a very long planned once. Atlast, the cake was cut and we were back to our regular photoshooting mode, danced a bit and enjoyed a lot. This time Kaushik went early without the dinner with us due to his work. Nevertheless, his presence was appreciated. After spending a quality time, I, rnk, ekta and lux returned back to Bhayander for dinner. This time we went to Shree Nidhi. The starters were so delicious and quantitative that we not able to order much of the main course. This seemed to be great of rnk as his budget was well within control. After dinner ate a pan and ice-cream. It was around 8.30 PM Ekta departed from there. We all were set to go home through a different route. As soon as rnk went, I and lax were off to her home for the second time in a day for a last task. On my way to her home, I  again saw rnk on the other side of the road. Somehow I managed to escape his sight. At lax's house, sat for few minutes and then we went to rnk's home. Rnk's college friend joined us this time. At his home, met his family, opened his gift i.e. the wall clock with a photo frame, saw the pictures taken and shared the day that passed. Finally, went to my home at around 10 PM. It was a day, when most of the things went wrong but still we managed to give a good surprise to Ronak.

Builtup to a friends b/d

It was a great first week of the 2012. Starting off with flowers on the my table in office given by Nidhi as a new year wish and at last completing a week long pending and boring activity.  Also startIng this year with a clevical belt to keep my posture perfect. 3 months after joining the job, I still attend more KT than I work. Nevertheless, getting to learn a lot. Back to home, it was usual chatting with Laxmi after 11 pm and planning for Ronak's b/d everyday with days to go for it just to give the perfect surprise. It was shopping time on saturday with Sanjay and his mom. Finally, I bought a branded casuals for myself keeping in mind the occasions to come. After shopping went to lax's home for some timepass with Lax and Ekta. It is getting ususal to spoil their studies  on saturdays. Came home for an hour and then gone to Shani mandir with Sanjay, Anu & Bhavesh. Had samosa's and a dabeli and a very long walk with loads of laughs and giggles. Its sunday and time to go for a short trip. Once again Sanjay being my pass to go out of home, went to Infinity Mall at Malad with Ronak, Laxmi and her friend and once again Ekta cancelled to come at the last moment. Had good time at a good mall.Ate some food and a done footwear shopping. Atlast, met Sanjay on my way back to home. He also seemed to have a great time with his friends at Mumbai. To sum it up, it a decent start to the new year. Hope future is more interesting.

New Year - 2012

Another year of my life passed with lots of memories to cherish for the lifetime. 2011 was an eventful year with its moments of ups and down with family and friends. It was the year when I graduated, got my first job, But still miss the college life and the light moments that were shared with my friends. This was the year when I finally learnt few dance steps and was truly a great experience. Nevertheless, the next phase of my life has begun with some responsibilities and new challenges. For the year ahead, I plan not to repeat the same mistakes that I did in the past, keep myself fit and healthy and start from all over again a new business idea to keep myself engaged in my interest and passion. Hope 2012 will be the year when I will be able to fulfill my dream to be setup my own web business and hope to keep my family and friends happy.
